About
Our Mission
CalcHours exists to solve one narrow problem extremely well: turning raw clock-in and clock-out times into an accurate weekly total, including unpaid breaks and overtime, without friction. We built this site because most "timesheet" tools online are bloated with account creation, forced newsletter signups, or clunky spreadsheet templates. We wanted something that works the moment you land on the page.
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you type a clock-in time, a clock-out time, or a break deduction, the math happens locally on your device using JavaScript — nothing is uploaded to a server, and we do not ask you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the tools. We think a utility this simple should stay simple.
This site is free to use and supported by display advertising. Advertising revenue is what allows us to keep every calculator free, fast, and available without a paywall or subscription. We are selective about the ad partners we work with and are committed to a clean, uncluttered layout where ads never interfere with the tools themselves. You can read more about how advertising cookies work on this site in our Privacy Policy.
We continue to build out this site with additional targeted calculators — like our Weekly Hours Calculator — aimed at answering the specific questions hourly employees, freelancers, and small business owners ask most often about their timesheets and paychecks. If there is a calculator you would like to see, reach out through our Contact page.
